Not of my babes – I know every mother thinks their children are ridiculously clever but really!

I was listening to the Adam and Joe show podcast (yah, I’m soooo 21st century) while driving up to my parents the other day and Adam was taking about his young sons (4 and 5) playing video games.

At their tender age they have already devised their own bravado ‘disses’ (see, down with the kids me, innit) and they made me laugh so much I nearly had to pull over on the M1 because my stomach hurt:

“YOU’RE GOING DOWN, POM POM!”

“I’LL MAKE YOU DO A POO!”

“POO HEAD!!”

“Would you like to come to a party?” Now, this doesn’t sound very scary but apparently the idea was that if the enemy attended the party they would have quite a nasty time. Also, it was said in quite a sinister way which is impressive for a 5 year old.

I can’t go into the rest of the podcast here because I’m not sure ‘Dr Sexy’ is suitable for a pre-watershed blog such as this but (while I don’t want to wish their lives away) I can’t wait to see what R and G make of their first (carefully rationed educational, natch) video games in a few years.
