While the girls and I were out for a walk this afternoon I spotted the following notice taped to a lamp-post:
“Missing cat. Large ginger Persian…”
My added brain mis-read it as:
“Missing cat. Large ginger Person…”
I spent a couple of seconds trying to work out why the size of the owner was relevant to the notice before I realised my mistake.
This parenting thing does strange things to the brain.
