I always feel extremely disconcerted when people from my 'real life' tell me that they read my blog. It makes me feel that I should censor myself and be more careful about not offending them. Not that I set out to offend my friends and family, mind.
On one level it's quite flattering that people I know and love take time out of their busy lives to read my rants and ramblings. They make my stats look good for one thing!
However, I hit a creative wall every time someone tells me they read House of Twins. After a purple patch last week I've lost my writing mojo again. I usually get it back after a few days but for now I'm in a bit of a trough.
