So, the girls have been exposed to Chicken Pox, appeared to be developing spots last night and were grizzly, snotty, feverish and a tad grumpy. This morning, they were feeling extremely sorry for themselves and G was off her food (which is almost unheard of) so I managed to get an appointment with the GP.
The one thing I forgot to do was check to see if the spots were still there and when the GP asked to see them and I showed him two blemish-free, distinctly non-spotty babies he clearly thought I was wasting his time. He was very nice about it but I felt like the ultimate uber-paranoid mummy.
Where did the spots go? Is this the beginning of Chicken Pox? The girls clearly aren't quite right but I wouln't define them as 'ill'.
We'll have to see if the Pox makes an appearance in the next few days...
